MAKING A PURCHASE
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING IS FREE ON ORDERS OVER £40.00
We accept credit card payments via Paypal. Or you may order by post if you prefer. Simply contact us through the "contact us" page with your order. We will send you an invoice for you to return and your order will be dispatched upon receipt.
Once your order is received by us we will e-mail confirmation to you to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. Your order is accepted once we send you an invoice. This term is necessary in the unlikely event that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product.
If there has been a change of price, we will always contact you before processing your order.
By making a purchase you are automatically added to our mailing list. If you do not wish to be advised of forthcoming promotions please advise us.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING
Shipping costs are calculated when you place an order. ORDERS OVER £40 ATTRACT FREE DELIVERY WITHIN THE UK.
All orders are sent by either first class or secure mail which must be signed for at the time of delivery. Proof of posting is always obtained. At times we may offer free postage and packing on all orders. During these periods all orders up to the value of £40.00 will be sent out by first class post. Proof of posting will be obtained.
ORDERS
Orders are shipped within five working days from receipt of your order.
Should an item be out of stock, we will contact you immediately. The item will then be put on back order and will be delivered once in stock.
PRIVACY POLICY
The Bow Company does not disclose buyers information to third parties.
RETURNS POLICY
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy then please return your items to us within 7 days of receipt. We regret that returns will not be accepted after this time.
All returned items must be unused and with all tags, labels intact. All returned items should be sent by recorded delivery. We cannot be responsible for items lost in the post.
All items are checked at the time of shipping to you.
In the unlikely event that an item is faulty it will be replaced like for like, except if an item is out of stock or discontinued. In these circumstances we will issue a credit note or refund. We are unable to refund postage charges.
SIZE REPLACEMENT/EXCHANGE ITEMS
All of these items must be accompanied by the original invoice on which the goods were purchased, including your name and address. We advise customers to use Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, as we are unable to accept responsibility for mislaid or non delivery of parcels to us. Return shipping will be charged to you.
SIZE GUIDES & COLOURS
All hair bows are hand crafted and therefore each bow is unique. This means that there may be a slight size discrepancy between each item. All sizes are therefore approximate.
All colour settings on individual computers are set differently. Please bear this in mind if you are trying to colour match a bow. We will always send out a sample of ribbon before you make a purchase if required.
BOWS FOR SCHOOL!
The Bow Company attends school and charity sales in and around Yorkshire.
Our accessories are available for purchase by schools to be incorporated as part of the school uniform and for charity events. Please contact me by e-mail (carole@pickerings197.plus.com) to find out how we incorporate your school uniform into our accessories.
HAIR ACCESSORIES ARE NOT TOYS!
Our hair accessories are made with children and young adults in mind. We must advise that there should be adult supervision of all our products at all times as some of our products contain small pieces.
Our hair accessories are not toys and are intended to be used as a hair accessories only.
